On a recent visit to see family, I manage to visit the Peak Rail Where 8624 8F was being prep for its forth coming move The duty loco for the day was
WD 150 on the 6 mile run from
Rowsely South to Matlock Riverside. The line to be extended.

track ...and five seconds later
they’ve stopped rather quickly!

steam is added to the Gala
